My Diary Musings etc.

25\4\99  There are some scientists, who reckon its theoretically possible to time travel. They also say that if it is possible, you could only travel back to the point in time, from when the machine was actually built. My question is: this means you couldn't go back to stop say, Hitler from causing all that grief - because the time machine hadn't been built then. BUT, what if an alien race much older and more sophisticated than ourselves, had built a time machine say, thousands of years ago. Wouldn't it then be possible to travel back that far, in our (human) history, using their technology\time machine?
Just one of my musings. Just wondering if my hypothesis is correct. No doubt some quantum theorist will shoot this theory down in flames. As if I give a damn! I like my theory!

27\5\99 I put some Johnny Cash on the CD player today - then took it off and decided to spend it on beer. (Eh? Ed)

2\5\99 "My God,! I can see into the fuchsia". Quote from my TV gardening mate, Alan Titchmarsh.

5\5\99  "The Taming Of The Shrew"? I tried taming one last week, all I got for it was bitten fingers - and I still couldn't teach it to sit up and beg.

9\599 My mate Dave went to the doctors yesterday, after swallowing a pound coin. He went back today for a checkup - but the doctor said there was little change. (Abit like these old jokes really. Ed).

15\5\99  I was reading an article the other day, that says that 99% of all bed bugs are born in Spring. (GROAN! Ed).

20\5\99 I see that Tom Parker Bowles - son of Camilla Parker Bowles - was given a right Royal telling off in May 1999, over being found snorting Class A drugs. Something to do with Charlie, apparently. (?)

25\5\99 Did you know? I found out today, that apparently St. Nicholas - amongst other things - is Patron Saint of Cobblers. What a load of old shoes!

1\6\99 Did you know? That the proper name for a molluscs\snails tongue, is a radula.

4\6\99 On the news today, they've just discovered a new species of bird. Its black, has a voracious appetite for eating paper, and its not always compatible with others of its kind. I think I've got one of the little blighters. I think they said its been named as a Lesser Spotted Ink Partridge. (There is something seriously amiss with you! - Ed)
